I love coffee. I have for a while - for years.

I moved from a casual coffee drinker to an addict when I was working as a chef. Long hours and shift work required me to be awake and "on" regardless of how rested I was. Coffee had become more and more essential to my "adulting" than ever before.

Then it happened. I became a coffee snob.

Not really - at least in my mind. I just know what I like and do not like when it comes to a cup of coffee. I don't want weak coffee and I don't want coffee that tastes burnt or sludge that has been sitting in a coffee maker too long. I want good coffee. Is that too much to ask for?

I love trying new food experiences when I travel - especially overseas. And I love trying coffee from different parts of the world, made in a variety of ways. Recently I told my wife that I wanted to try coffee from as many coffee shops in central Florida as I can, just for fun. She suggested that I rate each location and cup, and create this site to share my findings with the world - or at least a few people who find this site.

So, here we are. I am now on the quest for great coffee throughout Florida and the world and will share the good and bad of what I find with you - with the hope that these reviews will help you avoid bad coffee and inspire you to try great coffee.

Thanks for visiting!
Cheers, Eric
